2021 Meet Results

Here are the results from the 2021 meet! Results from previous years can be found here. 

The 2021 Overall Team Winner: Team Michigan, with an impressive team combined (Boys and Girls) score of 67 points! Second place overall went to team Ohio, followed by Team Indiana and Team Illinois.

2021 Boys Race Winner: Team Michigan with 39 Points! Indiana boys very closely followed with 40 points, then came the teams from Ohio and Illinois.

2021 Girls Race Winner: Team Michigan won the girls race with a very impressive 28 points! Runner up was Team Ohio, followed by Team Indiana and Team Illinois.

The Boys Overall Winner was William Zegarski from Team Ohio (Little Miami High School), with a great time of 15:03.9 (just a few seconds off the Meet Record of 14:59.0 set in 2007 by Michael Fout of Team Indiana)! Runner Up was Cole Raymond from Team Indiana (Laporte HS) in an impressive 15:14.5. Rounding out the Top 5 boys were Caleb Jarema from Team Michigan (Pinckney HS), Abram Eckman from Team Indiana (Jasper HS), and Luke Venhuizen from Team Michigan (Traverse City Central HS).

The Girls Overall Winner was Julia Flynn from Team Michigan (Traverse City Central High School), with an impressive run of 17:30.3 (again not far off the Meet Record of 17:21 set by Indiana’s Ashley Erba in 2012)! Runner up was Grace Hartman, a local girl from Team Ohio and Oakwood High School, in 17:56.2. The other Top 5 girls runners were Karina James from Team Indiana (Lowell HS), and Maddy Foster (Bedford HS) and Madelyn Frens (Grand Rapids Christian HS), both from Team Michigan.
